Irvine FC is offering an exciting unpaid internship opportunity for individuals passionate about coaching and player development. This role combines hands-on experience with our Men’s Semi-Pro Team and support responsibilities within our Youth Academy.
As a Coaching Intern, you will:

Assist the Men’s Head Coach with on-field strategy, weekly training sessions, and game-day operations.

Support Academy coaches with training sessions, player development, and administrative tasks.

Learn the fundamentals of managing teams at both the semi-professional and youth levels.

Contribute to building a positive, disciplined, and growth-oriented environment.
Qualifications:

Competitive soccer background (playing or coaching)

Grassroots US Soccer Coaching License (or working toward one)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to foster a positive and professional team culture

Basic computer proficiency (email, Word, Excel)

Strong organizational and time-management skills
This internship is ideal for aspiring coaches looking to gain real-world experience in both adult and youth soccer environments while being mentored by experienced staff.
